How to Grow an Indoor Herb Garden
For thousands of years we have turned the plants we call herbs for flavor, dye, perfume and cosmetics. We believed that individual herbs held the power, insects, repel vampires and evil, while others pulled the perfect lover, happiness or Bees pollinate our crops. For some, the use of herbs to cure headaches and burns. And of course, what would be without the fine dining kitchen herbs?

Take some time to accustom your herbs to their new conditions. Once you see growth start using herbs you can. Snip and use your herbs often to encourage them to grow full and bushy.
When it comes to light, all herbs must get 4 to 6 hours of sunshine per day on your windowsill. If your windows do not provide that much light then purchase garden grow lights and hang them three inches above the plants.
